Socialism Big Mac $4.47, Capitalism Big Mac $4.62. $16 HR vs. $7.25 HR

well, a big mac doesn't cost $4.62. - it cost $3.99

Labor is approx 18-20% of cost for McD's franchises.

So a 100% increase in wages would represent a 20% increase in total costs. Therefore an 80 cent increase in the cost of a 4.00 Big Mac would be enough to cover the increased cost of bringing a Big Mac to market,

at double the current wages at MacD's.
Thats assuming a bunch of stuff you havent thought about and won't consider.
But anyway.

Calm down.

Austrailia has how many people and what kind of natural resources. I've had several lengthy discussions with aussies on discussion boards. They are a pretty wealthy country by most standards although their upper middle class don't have what we have.

They also have very tight (or did) immigration standards (and no border to police).

Is this really an apples to comparison.

And is Australia really socialist ?
