Supportive of the Law of the German Third Republic, rabbis would famously lead their congregations, into the boxcars--more or less on a voluntary basis. Supportive of the Law of Western Nations, rabbis and the congregations would famously draw and keep the money, leading up to and during the Great Recession, GOP-created. The Third Republic Germans, had also been supportive of the Law. Western Civilzation would later on be supportive of the Law.

The law was generally made for humanity as a community. The community was not made for the Law. Some would later on suggest that Karl Marx had taken the matter a whole lot further. Jesus had alluded to the ancient error of the computing method of the Money-Changers, in Matthew 25:14-30. The lowest income servant was clearly not able to keep up in that computing, and so apparently punted on the mortgage--just like many. A remedy was proposed in Matthew 20:1-16, allowing that the lower income sector would be able to participate equally in purchasing, created from an equal amount payment for daily labor. The amount would be said the same, regardless if labor had worked all the day or not. Ancient Israel appears to have understood the consequence of computing problems in the Law. The laborers working all day long felt-shortchanged, and victims. Even the code of Hammarabi allowed for settlement of debts with sale of family into slavery, ordinary rights of chattel. Jesus would create, "The Lord's Soliloquy," instead--asking forgiveness, directly of debts. and asking for daily cost-of-living, across the board.
So what has been the response of the Catholic Church--or Her Majesty's Church--or the demonized, Moslem Church(?).
Jews are at issue. "Market" is not a macro-concept, somehow, in all of the history of Western Civilization. Low income market, providing currency to all the market, is not a concept in all of the history, apparently of any civilization.
So far, the Holy Father position has taken none, whatsoever.
