So a man and his primary school-age daughter take a trip to washington d.c.
When they arrive, the father takes his daughter to go see michelle obama...
the daughter asks, "Mrs. Obama? Where do we come from?"
michelle obama says to the young 'un, "Well sweety, we're evolved from apes!"
Then the man and his primary school-age daughter go and visit laura bush...
the daughter asks, "Mrs. Bush? Where do we come from?"
laura bush says to the young 'un, "Well honey, we're descended from Adam and Eve!"
Finally, after their encounter with the dark city known as the District of Columbia, they return home to their sunny little house on the hillside...
The daughter, confused about what she had witnessed, aks her dad, "Why did michelle obama say we're descended from apes and laura bush say we're descended from Adam and Eve?"
The father, with a graven tone, explains to her daughter... "well,"
"That's because the obama's come from apes and the bush's come from Adam and Eve."
