Iowa U.S. Rep. Steve King endorses white nationalist Canadian politician
Seriously, what is it with republicans and white supremacists??? There was a period when if you were "mildly racist" -- you at least put some effort into trying to hide it -- but I am not sure how one can hide the level of racist Steve King is -- but I am sure some on this forum will definitely try.
Rep Steve King of Iowa came out in full support of a self-proclaimed white supremacist -- no, not someone the "media" smeared as a racist, no, this woman is a proud racist -- so why would Steve King endorse this woman? Is she running for state office in Iowa? No...is she running for mayor of Des Moines? No...She is running for mayor in a totally different country -- so why is Steve King even weighing in on it? -- Simple, because he is a racist...........period....
From the article:
"King tweeted Tuesday night in support of Faith Goldy, a candidate for Toronto mayor, describing her as an excellent candidate who is "pro Rule of Law, pro Make Canada Safe Again, pro balanced budget, &...BEST of all, Pro Western Civilization and a fighter for our values. @FaithGoldy will not be silenced."
Who is Faith Goldy and why is she Steve's pick for mayor?? Well..she is someone who is running a very Trump like campaign, tough on illegal immigrants, tough on crime (as long as it aint corruption) and she hates muslims -- so far, she is the run of the mill republican -- but there is more -- she likes to recite the white supremacist slogan The 14 Words ("We must secure the existence of our people and a future for WHITE children") -- she did this while on a radio show ran by the very moderate Neo-Nazi/white supremacist web site "Daily Stormer" -- However she didn't do this before she was fired by a Canadian right wing/anti-Muslim site for being too racist. She also gave a special shout-out to all the white supremacists who showed up in Charlottesville, Virginia, “in hordes.”
Now you may ask, who is she running against? -- Well when you look at who was all running for mayor in Toronto this year -- that is a story in itself. The race is most likely between the incumbent conservative John Tory and Jennifer Keesmaat -- there are over 10 other candidates also running -- the person Steve King is supporting is not among the favorites.
...but when you look at who else is in the race, you have to give Steve King some credit, because he could have picked James Sears, currently he is the editor of a neo-nazi newspaper, he is also a former doctor whose license was revoked after he confessed to multiple counts of sexual assault following complaints from female patients. He also has worked as a pickup artist, offering to teach men how to seduce women -- so at least Steve didn't picked that guy..
He could have also picked Chris Brosky, who is described as a neo-nazi skinhead and was convicted in Texas of murdering a black man in a drive-by shooting when he was only 16 years old. He served 16 years in prison before being released and deported to Canada. He previously ran for a city council seat in the 2014 municipal election -- so at least Steve didn't pick that guy
