I don't know where you live, but our State troopers all roll with AR-15 variants of the .223 carbine, and a 12 guage shotgun. NYPD Uses the same weapons but includes in their Emergency Response teams the H&K MP5, and their sniper teams have the choice of either the .243 or .308 caliber rifles.
Where I live, we don't have a police force and depend on State Troopers for protection. Their normal response time is anywhere from 20 to 45 minutes. Hmm.. Where's a cop when you need one?

This total includes those who entered the United States illegally and those who entered legally but overstayed their authorized period of stay.

A more recent study estimated that there were about 10 million illegal aliens living in the United States as of March 2005. The study estimated that nearly 700,000 aliens entered the United States illegally or overstayed their authorized period of stay each year between 2000 and 2004. Some experts believe this is a overly conservative figure and that illegal immigrants number close to 20 million.

At the same time, after a steady annual reduction in crime, the annual FBI Uniform Crime Report reveals a slow but sure yearly increase in crime, especially violent crime. Some criminologists attribute the rise in crime to illegal aliens who come into the United States with a criminal background.

Many illegal aliens in the United States have been arrested and incarcerated in federal and state prisons and local jails, adding to already overcrowded prisons and jails. The US Justice Department issued a report on criminal aliens who are incarcerated in federal and state prisons and local jails.

Speaking of deaths, perhaps this would be a good time to bring up that on average 9,125 Americans lose their life to illegal alien invaders each year! That's right, not just last year, every year.

What exactly are they waiting for? Why is this just a "contingecy" plan? How many more have to die each day before the "contingency" becomes reality? Why would the federal government NOT place troops on the border?

Here's the message the feds are sending: "We can live with 25 Americans each day to die at the hands of illegal aliens, but not too many more. It's ok for illegal aliens to illegally come here, smuggling drugs, weapons, terrorists, and then when they are here, to molest, rape, murder and steal identities, and money from our public treasuries, but you better not bring your drug violence across. That's where we draw the line!"

This makes absolutely no sense to focus on a developing problem in another country while absolutely ignoring a crisis in our own nation. It is a slap in the face to greiving families like the Marches, Bolognas, Gardners, Inmans, Kortlangs, or any of the other surviving family members of those found at FNCIC-VOIACM Foreign National Crime Information Center - Victims of Illegal Alien Crime Memorial

To suddenly have the federal government scrambling to put a plan together after ignoring thousands of Americans who have lost their lives to plain old illegal alien invaders is enraging.
