Personally, I wouldn't care if they ALL had been armed - so long as they had undergone background checks and their guns were legal. Apparently one student was armed - but didn't have the balls to use it. He didn't want police to mistake him for the shooter.

It's just background information on the sheriff who is anti-gun control and even sent a letter to VP Biden that he would violate his oath of office to uphold the Constitution by refusing to obey any federal gun control laws.
