Hooray for our victory in the pacific in 1945. The world is a better place for Americans because of it.

The Ukraine is being pulled from the Russian sphere of influence. The threat Russia poises to Europe is significantly less than it was in 1945.

If Israel can't protect it's airport don't blame the world for being cautious.

For the Israeli government, facing international humiliation and prospect of your citizens being stranded abroad, the argument in favour of rolling over the entire Strip and crushing Hamas just got a lot more compelling.

There has always been hope for me, and I fully understand valor and victory as well as their opposites.

An Eisenhower, a Patton, a Ridgeway, a Clark, a Bradley, a Truscott, a Westmoreland, a Vesey, a Scharwartzkopf, all of them and since, would tell you we have no business fighting in Ukraine. Almost every veteran on this board would agree, I think.
