1. Congress cannot run roughshod over the Executive, especially on a witch hunt with no crimes proven. They are co-equal branches of government.
2. The actual charge(s) for any "articles" are based on a conspiracy, and that is what needs to be investigated and proven in court. Look at the record of accusations against Trump, first the Russian collusion scam, was that setup by the Obama administration?, emoluments violations, tax returns, Ukraine/bribery/extortion, campaign finance crimes, obstruction of justice, witness intimidation, abuse of power and other "deep state" excuses to impeach President Trump. Would any impeachment articles be the result of coordinated conspiracy? That needs to be thoroughly investigated by the Trump defense team.
