Works in guys too. As I understand it, rectally is best because it's the most direct route into the bloodstream. By comparison to his/her rectum, the vagina has thicker linings and thus not as easily absorbed into the bloodstream. And orally is the most inefficient method since most of it will be destroyed in the stomach by digestive enzymes and stomach acid.
