People worldwide depended on the British newscasts during WWII. Even now, Gorbachev reportedly thinks that Russian and the United States ought not to go to war(?). John Kerry and Arnold Schwarzenegger oppose climate change(?). There appears to be a polling trend in support of impeachments, subsequent the start of the Democrats investigations. Actually, the US pundits are not so far so-stating, (masking some surprise(?))! Low expectations are seemingly being created.

Net support for impeachment grew steadily during U.S. congressional hearings - Reuters/Ipsos poll

There is an increasing gap between supporters of the impeachment, and people who do not. The gap had been 3 points, now it is 7 for impeach, versus not impeach. In fact, it is heading to 40% as usual. Last week, in a separate thread: It was noted that a 4500 interviewees poll showed the usual 40% nationally supporting Trump for 2020. Every Democrat won in head-to-head preferences, double-digits included.

For one thing, the Schiff hearings were family-friendly. The Mafia Don starting to become a compare and contrast--even attacking an Mary Poppins clone, in the midst of the testimony: Starts to make a difference.

There is building concurrence that Nixon's transgressions were actually less serious than Trump's, excepting the continuing "Discourse on Politics," on the tapes(?).

"Crow, James Crow: Shaken, Not Stirred!"
(Deut: 23:19-20, would create subjugating agents of Pharaoh, with basis in the educated emissary, Moses, (ACTS 7). Usury arithmetic would be deployed against the foreign--possibly in some alliance(?), nowhere reported or otherwise obstructed--hidden--masked--or "Fake News(?)," then discarded(?)! The arithmetic is lethal to the peoples impacted.)

The only polls that count are in the House, for impeachment, and in the Senate against impeachment. All the other MSM noise is garbage.
Then Trump wins in 2020 and the democrats will be crying again.

LOL...

Your poll only looked at democrats... When the Independents are looked at, you lost over 13 points in that area alone... Your loosing ground so fast that its incredible. Blacks, Latino's, etc are moving away from you clowns so fast its frightening for you..

I don't think a full impeachment vote is going happen now. Pelosi has a losing hand and will fold soon. She has no choice. It is better to take the blow back now and move on towards the election than to continue on with a plan with no upside at all. The biggest error was putting Adam Schiff in charge. He comes off as the text book example of the slimy attorney looking to screw someone over. And, that image is even worse when it is clear he was actually trying to railroad Trump.

Pelosi will pull the plug and this will be forgotten by the time the primaries begin in February. There is no way this thing is still going at that point.

Reuters/Ipsos is not one snapshot, but a series of polls over time. The sample is described in the link, including Democrats, Republicans and Independents. The trend shown indicates that people who do go online--alert to whatever is online--trend away from "Do not support Impeachment" to "Support Impeachment."

The awareness factor post-the-big-shopping weekend days could itself easily increase, even year-end.

There are no tapes, but there are the Presidential Distractions noted. Impeachment support is generally soft, even when it came to Nixon--suddenly a victim of the tapes. The phone call tape mainly exposes the White House disregard for National Security, support for its good friend in North Korea, support for its good friend, Vladimir Putin. The direct self-aggrandizement demand is on the parody transcript released by the White House. There is zero concern for US National Security shown.

The internal courtroom antics of Ukraine, the fact that a Democrat invests in one or two mutual funds: Isn't even capgun explosive in comparison.

It's over guys. It flopped. We've been through variations of this same shit so many times that this whole dialogue is pointless masterbation fantasy.

You are not going to get laid or knock any bitch up. Let it be, as Paul McCartney once sang.

Really? I don't know it seems they are fully committed to seeing the sham all the way through. But they could also be afraid of losing control and being called to the witness stand.

Recalling again the Nixon phenomenon: The tapes turned everyone sour on Nixon. In the current matter there is the Trump-problem-daily in play. Many might say that he even tried to threaten Mary Poppins in the midst of the testimony. Schiff had to read to the witness.

Most recently there is even Rasmussen Tracking, from just last week, below.

The president earned a monthly job approval of 46% in October, down two points from 48% in September. In January of this year, Trump’s monthly job approval had fallen to 44%, its lowest level in a year. But it jumped five points to 49% in February following his well-received State of the Union speech, recapturing the high ground he held for most of 2018. Fifty-two percent (52%) disapproved of the president’s job performance last month, up two points from the month before.

Some polling results do lag in time-frame.

October was likely reflecting unfavorable impeachment-related reporting. Trump has to be portrayed as a choir-boy. The best take now is maybe a choir-boy: A bit too foul-mouthed for public participation in the choir itself. Likely the White House Defense team knows the principal weakness of their strategy.
