All the Ds had to do was avoid threatening Barr in order to avoid the political equivalent of a public endoscope and proctoscope without anesthesia. So what did they do? They basically volunteered to have Barr do exactly that to them, their donors, their rent a riots and at every level of government. Any idea about why Pelosi and company would do this?

That's an old story but the type of Dementia Pelosi has seems to be contagious as witness her committee chairs. The only type of dementia that I know of that is also contagious is syphilis and it doesn't work this fast. I suspect she is too old to set off such an epidemic. Kamela would be more likely candidate.
