SNL never really was funny to me. Well, at least not in the last 10 years or so.

Were these people really funnier? No. Were they original? Yes. Skit comedy on TV was new when they started it. Dana Carvey, Mike Meyers, Chris Rock, Phil Hartman, Rachel Whig, etc...just as funny (if not funnier) than Chase, Curtain, Belushi, etc...
