Property rights don't extend to building structures which are offensive and dangerous to others, and the right to build is not protected by the constitution. Anyone who has ever had to jump through hoops to put a fucking porch on their house or try to get the go-ahead to build a house on property they own knows that.

I think Muslims around the world will see it as a step towards sharia, as dawa is a step towards jihad. And more importantly, they will see it as a symbol of Islamic victory over the US.
