Is this the beginning of an escalation of the war?
And which side is intending to start the escalation?
The key question being on Nato's article 5 coming into effect?

Consider?

Okay.

Consider?

Okay.
Did you realize that the word 'Consider' has more than one meaning.

1. Think about doing something.

2. As in, if you cross over my red line, I 'consider' you to be a legal target.

Which is Russia's intent.

And more important, which side is about to escalate the war?

Do you know the context of the term 'consider' in your link? That dictates meaning.

It seems to suggest #2, but maybe there's a case to be made for the other. You inferred #1 and opened the conversation. That satisfied my reason for posting this topic.
Anything else is window dressing.

Show me a UN official and I'll show you Deep State middle management .

I consider you a Putler propagandist.

If any NATO nation or if NATO itself puts its people into a war zone of a non NATO nation, it is very logical for the other nation (in this case, Russia) to view them as enemy combatants.

The fact of an attack by Russian on NATO troops in a non NATO nation shouldn’t trigger Article 5.
It's non issue. To date, NATO has provided only moral support to Ukraine, but several NATO, but several NATO member states have provided substantial military aid to Ukraine, but to my knowledge, neither NATO nor any NATO member state has suggested it might send troops. The Op is simply perpetuating Putin's lies about being at war with NATO or the US instead of with Ukraine.

Very probable.
