I found a website that addresses affordability credits, now I have more questions than ever.

In order for this idea to work, it appears that the government option has to be apart of this plan, else the government is shilling money out to the insurance companies and make buying insurance mandatory.

I can go for the government option. I do not have a problem with government owning or operating a business.

I do have a problem with mandates even if the mandates are to resolve a pressing financial issue.

Any way, I think I understand what you mean by addressing those that can't pay. I guess I have to apologize an earlier statement. But what about access to the programs. Can a person that is currently unable to pay for insurance still be accepted without refusal by the government? 'Understand, Someone like me is no longer looking at private health insurance as an option any more.

NOPE!!! Actually she did have medical care available to her, and she made the choice not to use it. So I'd say it's pretty safe to say that if she had insurance she would probably still have passed away. I mean even when she did have insurance she didn't go to the doctor. Then after she lost her insurance (which had nothing to do with her illness, but the fact that she didn't go to the doctor when she was employed therefore lost her job because she got so sick she didn't go to work) she still made the choice not to take advantage of the free health care that was available to her.
