Do you know what the difference between natural gas and oil is?
Of course. Our number one export is gasoline, which is refined from Oil.
Natural gas is what all the buses in Los Angeles run on which is why their air quality is 30% cleaner. It also cost less than $2 a unit (what ever one unit is). It's $15 dollars in China which is why scientists are looking for a way to liquefy it so we can sell it overseas.
Even if gas went to zero, many wells would stay open because they also pump oil.
If you knew all that stuff, why didn't you just SAY it? Oh, wait, you mean you didn't.....oops, sorry. For you. No, seriously. I feel sorry for you.
We export more oil than any other country in the world, and most of that gasoline is refined from imported oil.
By the way, all the buses in LA do not run on CNG, most of them do. There are almost 100 buses still in use in LA that use diesel.
The increased drilling for natural gas does not mean all those wells, or even most of them, also produce oil. Your article talks about drilling shale for natural gas, aka fracking. That doesn't produce oil, which explains why I didn't talk about it, I know better.
Unlike you.
After almost two decades of effort to reduce vehicle emissions, the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority retired its last diesel bus Wednesday and became the only major transit agency in the nation with a fleet that is totally equipped with alternative-fuel technologies.

Sigh.
This is why I only occasionally write here any more. How many times have I told you right wingers to use the Internet. You sit in front of it. USE IT. Figure out how to learn to use a search engine.
