Ruh Roh. Shock Poll has Hillary Leading in Texas

Oh you laugh Hoss, but if you recall, Trump got his ass whooped the last time he was up for an election in Texas

Pretty sure Trump has never run for office in Texas.

I was reading the other day that American people don't pay too much attention to the election until after the holiday that you've just had, the one I forget what the holiday was for, but the one that was at the weekend.

Then there are the Presidential Debates.

Oh so you know nothing about nothing, but you read something that taught you nothing. Thanks for the update. :cuckoo:

The entire GOP needs a diaper change on the Texas news. Even uttering this and they evacuate uncontrollably.

Is is happening? So many years ahead of schedule?

In a new Washington Post-Survey Monkey released Tuesday morning, Hillary Clinton leads Donald Trump in Texas by one point. The Republican presidential candidate has carried the state in each of the last nine elections. The poll also shows that Trump puts into play other former Republican strongholds like Georgia (tied), Arizona (Clinton leads by 1), and Mississippi (Trump leads by 2).

Texas in particular may represent the impact of Trump’s repulsiveness to Hispanic Americans. However, the more general tenuousness of very conservative states shows that he has failed to appeal typical Republican voters. This could be in part due to his very obnoxious personality or his inability to understand small-government principles.

As the presidential debates near closer, Trump must pick up serious ground if he wishes to not be completely embarrassed on Election Day. This has nothing to do with winning the election, as those chances to seem to have sailed. Rather, if he wants to avoid the largest landslide defeat in at least twenty years, he must get to work on his messaging.

SHOCK POLL: Hillary Clinton Leads Donald Trump in Texas
A new 50-state poll shows exactly why Clinton holds the advantage over Trump

This election is going to be interesting to say the least. In most swing states that Hillary is winning, her lead is slim, yet she is within striking distance in many normally solid red states. So many different scenarios could play out. Trump could hold on to the red states and improve enough to steal the swing states he needs to pull off the upset, or Hillary could increase her lead across the board and win in a massive electoral landslide. Most likely though, Trump will just hold on to most of the red states and Hillary will win the bulk of the swing states giving her decent electoral win but no landslide, and she will win the popular vote by about five points.

Oh so you heard that until some holiday happens that you know absolutely nothing about, nobody in America cares about the Presidential election.

You're dumb as an Austrian.

Jesus Christ, Trump is not losing Texas. :rolleyes-41:

Hillary winning a Conservative state like Texas is as weird as the thread that says she might win Mississippi.

Yes, there is zero chance of either.

I think from reading previous election results Hillary being the Democratic candidate will be lucky to get 40% in those Deep Red States.

1. Trump will not carry any of the minority voters this election cycle.

2. Trump may not even garner the Cruz voter this election cycle.

3. You reading into past election cycles would show you George W. Bush and John McCain carried decent amount of Hispanic\Latino voters and if you believe Trump will be anywhere near Romney numbers you better think again.

So as you and Taz pretend to know so much about Texas maybe this will educate some of you for once that Texas is not deep red as you believe it is or maybe it is and Texans see Trump as he truly is and that is a shill for Clinton!

"nobody in America cares about the Presidential election."

Good that you comment this, shows that Hillary is going to lose.

We're more educated than your ilk, and launching a Xenophobic personal attack a typical Leftist bigot.

How much influence do Mayors have? The Governor, both Senators and most of the Congresspeople are all Republican.

I'm not also knowing how much influence newspaper endorsements have. Mr. Hoss and HereWeGoAgain both agree that Texas isn't a state that Hillary will win.

Many of the Left think that The Donald is only going to win about six states, someone posted a thread the other day where they stated that it was going to be a 1964 type landslide for Hillary, from looking at the polls, it's going to be closer than people think.
