I wont shed a tear if they go. They account for at least 50% of whats wrong with politics. Catering to those that are too apathetic too care and promoting lies in the process.
I agree, the 'Rock the Vote' was never without an agenda and it wasn't biased for the moderate voices.
Of course, but it's not like the MSM is ever going to point this out. Though I did, back when I was a member, and got a write-up in Forbes Media Critic for the effort (a now-defunct magazine). Proud moment in my life.
Like, vote or die man!
I am glad they did get millions to register to vote. That is a good achievement, regardless of political bias.
But now that they are about to be out of biz, not a tear shall be shed by me either.
I'm torn, is 'registering' idiots a good thing?
yep even idiots need to vote.
unless they want to riot and burn shit down.
Nah, they can just go to the nearest Starbucks, no need to vote.
Of course it was going to die. Its contrary to everything Rock N Roll stands for. Rock N Roll is about disregard to authority and particularly government regardless of who is in power. its about rebellion. Its about being different. its not about getting people to vote for liberalism.
like it was done in the sixties... Dammit!!!! Sonny put down that I-pod and lets talk about evil republicans...heheheeeee
