Redford told a packed house at Sundance's opening-night premier of the tolerance-themed comedy "Happy Endings" that a goal of the festival was to give a platform to a diverse group of filmmakers with something to say about the times.

"This is really a festival about different voices in film that really reflect, a little more accurately, the world we live in," Redford said.

Glenn was talking about this earlier. This movie supposedly shows the true values of America. Here is what the movie is about.

The film tracks the intertwined lives of three different groups of people. Kudrow portrays a counselor at an abortion clinic who remains conflicted over her decision to have a child at a young age.

Arnold is the father of a gay teenage boy who ends up dating the girl, played by Gyllenhaal, who claimed his son's virginity.

Roos took a swipe at last year's battles over gay marriage when he introduced "Happy Endings." He thanked his boyfriend for supporting him through the making of the film and told the audience: "We had a very busy year threatening the sanctity of marriage."

This is the exact reason Libs are so out of step with America. They think the true values of Americans are abortion or homosexuality. And well that middle paragraph kind of unclear and is either talking about a girl who takes the boys virginity or sayign Tom Arnold does. Do these people think that mainstream America is immoral and possible incestuous? what the freakin heck is wrong with these people? They think Abortion is a true american value? These people are just mindboggling. First, they whine on and on about how President Bush won the election because of moral values and then turn around and say they represent American values.

Try and understand this Hollywood. You dont represent our values. We are sick and tired of you trying to force your immoral values on us and trust me before long you will be long forgotten more than likely because you will have overdoesed or be sitting in a gutter drinking yourself to death wondering why none of your 10 marriages didnt work and why no one wants to listen to your hot air. yet you probably still will think you are intellectually superior then and blame others for your problems.

Agreed.

Pretty sure that a father can not sleep with someone his son has. Even so, eeewww.

I am glad though that Robert wants to have more diversity in film. Hey, maybe he should invite Mel Gisbon. Nah, that's because his 300 million plus movie is out of touch with america. How much did happy endings or whatever make?

When they say "diverse" what it usually means in Hollyweird is "perverse".
