Right vs. Left is Logic vs. Emotion

The right uses emotion. The left uses logic.
so it's "logical" to say you're the party of tolerance yet be intolerant of people who don't think like you and hold marches to "take scalps" of people who disagree with you and ban people who may say something you don't like.

that the "logic" you're referring to?

Jimmy Kimmel's recent viral monologue is a prime example of how the left values irrational emotions over logic and reason. That is why the left supports failed ideologies such as socialism, communism, etc. Because it feels good to them. They could care less that it ends in poverty, misery, and collapse.

Jimmy Kimmel illustrated this universal truth once again when he cried during his monologue about his baby (who is ok now) and proclaimed how nobody should have to decide between saving their child's life and money (as if anyone has ever had to make that "choice"). Life saving procedures cannot be denied regardless of a person's ability to pay. In addition to that inconvenient little fact, there is this gem:
The care, technology, and life saving treatment his family experienced was made possible by two, privately funded organizations. Both Cedars Sinai and Children’s Hospital LA are non-profit, not government-run, hospitals. This isn’t a coincidence.

When individuals are allowed to fund programs they like without a government mandate, we end up with more efficient and effective services. Hospitals are only one very important example.
Jimmy Kimmel’s Moving Story Shows Why Private Charity Trumps Government

The above message is brought to you by the Callous Conservative Coalition, whose creed, "I got mine, fuck the rest of you", guides them in all of life's endeavors, and its benefactors, the guardians of the golden goose who are determined to keep profits high, and preventative medicine rare and expensive - The Freedom Caucus members in the H. or Rep., and those who support them in their elections.

How many hours of charity do you do a week and what percent of your income do you give to those in need?

Much different from the leftist creed, "I want more stuff...for free".

Most social welfare programs are pragmatic and actually lower the cost of poverty on society. The so-called left, liberal and progressive programs that the right whines about save huge amounts of societal problems and funds that keep those problems manageable.
It is the right in its current form that attempts to rule and create policies based on emotion.
Biggest pile of BS yet in the thread.
It is not BS at all. An easy example is the providing children with health care through Medicaid. Take, for example, 100 average 5-year-old kids. Kids get ear infections, eye infections, colds, flu and other common childhood illnesses. If they are taken to a doctor in the early stages of these illnesses, they can be cured of those illnesses with well-established treatments for a relatively low cost. If they do not receive the early treatment they end up being taken to emergency rooms with the threat of these illnesses causing permanent disability and even life-threatening illnesses. Just the emergency room visit can cost thousand of dollars. A cold or flu that has turned into pneumonia can cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. What are you going to do, refuse admittance of the child into the hospital and send them out to die from pneumonia, go blind or deaf from a common eye or ear infection? But even if you do, someone is going to pay for that emergency room visit. Multiply that by the 100 average 5-year-olds in the example that will need those emergency room visits and possible admittance into a hospital. Prevention and maintenance pays big time, whether with a car, a home or a kid.

You validate my point. You look to the government while you want to have no personal responsibility in helping people.

Those private hospitals are great, I'm sure, but they sure are more expensive than most of the population can afford. So explain to me again how our current healthcare system is accessible to all? People can't afford to visit a hospital when they've got Obamacare--their $10,000 + deductibles are prohibitive. Same with doctor's visits. Kimmel as a father has every right to tear up relating the close call his newborn went through. You guys slamming "emotion" vs. "logic" aren't doing so hot when it comes to finding an actual solution to the problem, though. More and more people can't afford to visit doctors. Fix it.
St Jude childrens hospital provides treatments for free, and they provide housing for the parents.
Supported with donations.
The difference being, conservatives give to charity, leftists do not.
St. Jude's is wonderful, but I did not know it was 100% a conservative organization. No leftists are allowed to contribute, huh? I thought it was a Mason's hospital. Am I confusing it with another one?
We all know the left hardly give anything to charity, study after study shows it. You playing stupid simply shows your level of involvement.
Gimme a link on one of those studies?

There is no way for you to possibly know what I do to help other people. That is just a lame way for you to respond to a post that is completely logical and highlights the practicality of just one social welfare program. Preventive health care maintenance for children save society money. It saves everyone money in insurance premiums and hospital cost because that is who has to pay for those kids without insurance.

Much different from the leftist creed, "I want more stuff...for free".

Nice try: The creed from the left, i.e. Democrats, liberals and progressives is this:

"Equal rights and Equal opportunity for all"

Posting the meme that the left wants a free lunch proves only one thing, you are a member of the echo chamber. Do try to think for yourself.

No need to troll, simply admit that your questions to me are off topic and irrelevant, and used to deflect from the points I made because you can't rebut them. Be that because you know the truth of my statement, or are unable to write an expository to explain why you disagree.

Your response is to try to kill the messenger, and it failed.

Yes lots of logic in fighting gay marriage and abortions. No emotion there. And the fear of needing a gun at all times, no emotion there either. You are funny.

By the way . Both sides use emotion.

Dems use compassion.

Cons use fear.
We don't use fear, you feel fear when confronted with thoughts you don't already agree with and being a liberal you have a need to blame it on someone else.

Lol . PLEase provide an example where cons are cool With thoughts you don't agree on?

And I can tell you from personal experience. One of the things I do is get volunteers for charity events. I can get a hundred volunteers in conservative small towns of Calif. without asking. Same event moves to LA or San Fran it's like pulling teeth.

Who’s More Generous, Liberals or Conservatives?

Surprise! Conservatives are more generous than liberals
