Mere days after the Lafayette theater shootings that injured 11 and killed two people, plus the gunman, Rick Perry says that what we need is more guns around to stop this kind of violence before it escalates.

Rick Perry guns should be allowed in movie theaters.

Popcorn from home should be allowed in movie theaters. Not guns. What a freak show. He wants to see more shootouts between amateurs in dark theaters when someone is talking too loudly during the movie. That's a hundred strangers in the movie theater. People you know nothing about. Do you really want to trust your life to each and every one of those 100 strangers?

Perry is a low IQ inbred, not surprising he even suggested something like that

The NRA meetings I have attended are loaded with guns and no shots have EVER been fired. I will wear my gun and DO. Funny now that I think of it we have had NO SHOOTINGS in Arizona movie houses and we DO wear guns.

How are those "No guns allowed" signs working out for you? Another stupid liberal idea gone wrong.

I feel less safe in a "gun free zone" than I do anywhere else. I try to avoid them and if I do go in them I am more aware of my surroundings. Those places are just prime pickings for criminals with guns because the law abiding citizens following the law DON'T bring their weapons with them.

Yes.

You do realize that the very people who would shoot someone over loud talking or using a cell phone.....are going to carry guns into the theater anyway....because if they are that deranged, no "Gun Free Zone " sign will keep them from having a gun.

Do you know who wont shoot people....the people who follow the law and obey the "gun free zone" signs....

So your stupid policiy contributes to the very thing you say you want to stop......

Freaking anti gun extremists.....never actually think about what they post....

Yes. Considering anyone who would start shooting people over loud talking is going to bring a gun anyway.....the only people who won't bring a gun to a gun free zone are law abiding citizens who won't shoot anyone.

Your point is silly. And not thought out.....as is usual with anti gun extremists.......

Whether or not guns should be allowed in a movie theater should be the decision of the theater owners and nobody else.

Hundred people firing in the dark.....there is a decent chance they may actually hit the right guy

Of course it should be their decision...but..........

Unless of course carrying a gun is a civil right protected under the 2nd Amendment. As we have seen with bakers, photographers, pizza makers and florists...public accomadation laws seem to trump private property rights.........so in that case they should not be allowed to make their private businesses gun free zones since that violates the 2nd Amendment rights of U.S. citizens....right?

Well regulated militias of the People who are the militia, is my solution; along with better aqueducts and better roads.

And of course you have no idea what you are talking about.

At the Gabby Giffords shooting, a public place with lots of people running around, there were 2 concealed carriers in the crowd...neither one fired a round because they didn't have to...the guy was subdued.....so they controlled their decision to fire....

Also, one of the mall shootings right after the Colorado theater shooting, that theater was also gun free, the guy saw the killer, but there were too many people behind him so he didn't shoot. The killer saw him with his gun and suicided on the spot....which the majority of them do as soon as they encounter armed resistance....

So you are wrong...again....

Hundred people firing in the dark.....there is a decent chance they may actually hit the right guy

And of course, just like at the NRA convention in Tennessee where thousands of people carried concealed guns into the packed convention center......when there are guns around, the mass shooters choose gun free zones....

The South Carolina church shooter, considered going to a local community college first, but decided there were too many people with guns there....

The Santa Barbara shooter....on his videos, he stated he thought about going and killing at an outdoor festival...again, decided againsts it becausethere would be too many guns on hand...

If theaters allowed good people to carry guns, mass shooters would go elsewhere, they are looking for a body count....not a gun fight.......
