Rick Perry Calls Shift From Fossil Fuels To Renewables ‘Immoral’

I see asshole liberals are again sacrificing the poor on the alter of the liberal agenda. Is there anything they won't sacrifice? Jobs for the poor, affordable energy, they let illegals kill and rape the poor.

Democrats throw their own under the bus all the time, it's just that they are too stupid to realize it.

What is immoral is saddling our children with an energy policy that leaves them with rising sea levels, climatic chaos, and a degradated environment.

What is immoral is putting the profits of fossil fuel companies over the interest of future generations and this Country.

What is immoral is not preparing our country for a post-fossil fuel economy.

Nothing, provided it's not by force.....especially government force.

I always laugh at this hysteria you on the left have over this MMGW myth. I picture a classroom of kids in about 100 years from now. The teacher tells the class that 100 years ago, people believed that they actually controlled the climate, and the class bursts out in laughter the way we did as kids when the teacher told us at one time, people thought the earth was flat.

REMEMBER acid rain? The same argument was made with Acid Rain.

Remember the Ozone Hole? The same argument was made that banning CFCs would do nothing to halt the problem.

Radical Conservatives ARE ALWAYS on the wrong side of environmental issues. They are wrong global warming.

100 years from now classes will be CURSING at our generation for doing nothing and for the deniers who stood in the way of progress.

Electricity helps produce food, numskull. It's used to provide refrigeration, make fertilizer and do food processing. Pesticides and fertilizer are literally made from fossil fuel. Electricity also runs things like hospitals and electric lights.

You're just an arrogant, callous asshole who thinks Africans aren't entitled to have all the modern technology that you enjoy. You want children to be malnourished because their parents can't own a refrigerator to keep milk cold. What a fucking piece of shit.

So how would you eat if there were no big oil to produce the food you eat? If you live up north, how would you survive bitter cold deadly temperatures in the winter? If you live south, how would you like to live there with no AC? If you had a medical emergency, how would you get to the hospital on time with no ambulances or personal vehicle?

There was evidence with acid rain. There is zero evidence of MMGW. The climate is changing; been that way since God created the place.

When you can find (somehow) MMGW exists, then bring it to the table. Until you do, it's no different than believing in Santa Clause or space aliens.

Seriously, they sacrificed good paying jobs for liberal ideals until blue collar workers finally got fed up enough to kick Dem's to the curb. You would think that would have been a big wake up call for Dem's. After Trump whooped Hillary's ass Dem party leaders at the state level in those blue states Trump won said I TOLD YOU SO HELLO EARTH TO DC Dem PARTY LEADERS. But it fell on deaf ears. Liberals have taken over the Dem party at the leadership level, nothing, no amount of losing it seems will deter them from pursuing their liberal agenda.

...The notion that is immoral to use renewable-source energy rather than fossil fuel sourced energy is utterly preposterous.

That depends on your point of view, you really want to rob all those CEOs of the free market oil companies of their well deserved bonusses? All those politicians whose bribes... eh, campaign donations depend on the profits of those same companies? Not to mention all those lovely oil fields in the ME that need to be liberated with shock & awe...

It's pretty immoral to take all that away just to keep the environmental hippies happy

On matters of economics, I'm quite close to being a pure positivist; consequently externalities such as those with which you loaded your question don't concern me.

Well.....maybe some of them are starting to wise up, I don't know.

They want to take away guns, but who needs guns the most for protection? Women and the poor in high crime areas.

They tell them that they want to see increased wages so they support higher minimum wage, but let the illegals in to take those jobs and keep wages lower.

They say they want to see the middle-class have more jobs, but they attack businesses and bombard them with hundreds of regulations.

You seem to confuse oil with electricity comrade and since the fossil fuel addiction seems to screw up the planet it only makes sense to find a non polluting way to generate electricity

Hmm, some people would call that immoral....Rick Perry for example

:coffee:
Well, if they do, okay. I'm not seeking their approbation. I'm certain that if Perry is one such individual, he's not seeking mine.

If it's economical, sure. But alternatives don't have the power, the availability, nor the cost to replace fossil fuels. Do you have windmill in your backyard or solar panels on the roof of your home? If not, why not?

Ah, so now it's just about $$$, not about morality?

As a socialist I'd say the government needs to start a Manhattan program to develop nuclear fusion which doesn't have the drawbacks of solar and wind power so everybody can have clean energy (provided by the state) and they can tax the parasitic oil industry to pay for it, that would be the moral thing to do

Of course it's about money. Our economy struggled for years until fracking gave us the ability to produce fuel at a cheaper price. And fracking greatly lowered our so-called carbon footprint at the same time.

When people save money on fuel, that money goes into the economy and creates positive economic activity. So it's imperative that we have the lowest priced fuel as we can.

Electricity from coal will certainly save a lot of them. Your environmental hysteria is killing millions of them, douchebag. How many millions have died from Malaria since DDT was banned?

Man-made global warming theory is a con. What makes sense is using the cheapest, most-reliable form of energy we have.
