Requirements for posting, whining and otherwise engaging in criticism...

I think the point of the OP is this:

If you supported it when Bush did it, but complain about it when Obama does it, you're a hypocrite.

It goes the other way too. If you hated Bush's policies, you shouldn't be cheerleading Obama when he continues them.

it may appear so and be so for a lot of things, but nothing is ever that easily categorized, you know nothing exists in a vacuum.

The list is, well some pf the points are, stupid and make no sense, others need more than a just a one liner some yes have the virtue of straight up- "did" or" didn't" critique whioch is meanignful and explicit, maybe oh 3.

Other than that, the real point of the post is;

"the Truth to Power shop is now closed due to new management".....:eusa_boohoo:

Please note my "PS" ADDENDUM, or "editing" to my previous post a couple of posts back.

"Dissent is no longer patriotic."

"Dissent is no longer patriotic."

There is some humor in the fact that Partisans call dissent patriotic when they're out of power, and unpatriotic when they're in. Its kinda like my favorite Tom DeLay quote. During the Clinton years DeLay said "You can support the troops without supporting the President" (which I agree with 100%), but once he was the Majority leader and Bush was President, DeLay worked hard to paint criticisms of Bush as criticisms of the troops.

Obama has certainly done things that are worthy of criticism, as did Bush. The OP is calling out folks that somehow think that the everything Bush did was wonderful, but when Obama does them they are now evil. It should add that for too many, the reverse is also true.

I agree. And I suspect the OP author is guilty of the very same thing he condemns.

That's why he earns ridicule.

And, the OBVIOUS ridicule Obami Salami earns...and will earn is underlined by the INCONTOVERTIBLE BOTTOM LINE vote by the voters of the STATE of OHIO (formerly an "Obama state") conducted by DEMS themselves.....and from all the other polls reflects the mood of the Nation.

"Who would you rather have as President now, Bush or Obama ?"

Results:

BUSH: 50%

OBAMA: 42%

Read it and weep, Obamarrhoidal LIEberrhoid twits !!!

Requirements for posting, whining and otherwise engaging in criticism of the Obama administration

In order to gain a perspective on why someone could or would have the moral and political wherewithal to criticize the Obama Administration after just a year and a half of governance, it is essential that their ideas and values concerning the past eight years be consistent. To be consistent one must have engaged in the following:

You criticized and condemned the Bush administration for its lack of action on immigration.
You criticized the Bush administration for its neglect of the intelligence concerning 911.
You protested the loss of American life in the unnecessary invasion of Iraq.
You protested the trillions of dollars spent on wars that are either illegal or unwinnable and in the case of Afghanistan largely ignored.
You wrote your representatives to protest the illegal invasion of Iraq.
You condemned and protested the Bush administration for allowing Osama bin Laden to escape.
You criticized the Bush administration on their Medicare drug entitlement that gave drug companies free rein to rob the American tax payer.
You protested the lost of rights in America because of Homeland security and illegal wiretaps.
You railed against a deficit that grew and grew while Bush did nothing but advise shopping.
You discussed race and racial inequities during the Bush administration.
You did not whine about taxes as you drove America's roads and bridges and took advantage of a technologically advanced society.
You ride a bike or take public transportation to help keep America green.
You live in a home that is not part of suburban sprawl and is close to work and transportation so our monies do not only go to foreign nations.
You wrote corporations and congress concerning the outsourcing of American jobs.
You paid your taxes fairly.
You tip your fellow Americans well and support an increase in wages for the lowest 20% of workers in America.
You support stores that support American wages with benefits and fair pay: Costco, Starbucks.
You buy American products: cars, tools etc. and write the business when their products are not made here.
You do not shop in Walmart or other businesses that do not support a fair wage.

If you voted Bush / Cheney whose reduced taxes to the wealthy created enormous deficits, a financial bubble of epic portion, and wasted trillions on war, then you cannot criticize Obama as you are part of the current problems. If you voted for Bush / Cheney the second time around you need your head examined as soon as possible.

If you are not without sin concerning the above, feel free to criticize the Obama administration. As the priests would intone after confession, if you did sin, please now shut up, try to practice the golden rule, oh and buy American.

And most of all, if you did not do most of the above then you are simply a hypocrite.

thin skin lib of the day award goes to trashcan.

Lots of conservatives objected to President Bush's policies (or inaction) on a variety of policies. However, much of the faux "criticism" YOU offer wouldn't have been coming from any conservative since, unlike you, we didn't view the man through your coal-colored lenses.

We objected to his inattention to border security.

We praised him for his decisive actions regarding national security (in terms of the so-called WoT). Still many conservatives -- even on that latter issue -- objected to some of his actions upon principled grounds related to Constitutional integrity. I disagreed with them on that at the time. I still do. But the point is, you cannot reasonably or accurately paint conservatives with your broad brush. You liberoidals may march in lemming lock-step, but conservatives tend not to do that kind of thing.

I still think his actions with regard to Iraq were on the mark. You don't. So what? I'm not obligated to agree with you. Hell, I have even praised President Obama when it comes to his handling of some of the issues of the War on Terror. That's called "objectivity." You should give that a test-drive someday.

Most of your faux criticisms are simply YOUR silly partisan liberoidal rhetoric and thus there's no reason why any conservative WOULD agree with that gibberish-list of yours.

BTW: your permission is not required for any of us to criticize President Obama. As President, he is a major league fuck-up with very few exceptions. He is worse even than Jiminy Cricket Carter. He is largely responsible for the imposition of Constitution defying new socialist programs, massive increases in taxation, and a world-wide dismissive mockery of American foreign policy. These are not good things, by the way. He needs to be voted the fuck OUT of office. But since that has to wait a couple of more years, I'll happily settle for the termination of so many of his Party from the halls of Congress. I can't WAIT for the midterms.
