WASHINGTON – Republican congressional candidate Stephen Broden stunned his party Thursday, saying he would not rule out violent overthrow of the government if elections did not produce a change in leadership.
In a rambling exchange during a TV interview, Broden, a South Dallas pastor, said a violent uprising "is not the first option," but it is "on the table." That drew a quick denunciation from the head of the Dallas County GOP, who called the remarks "inappropriate."

So what was WRONG with what he said?

Nothing, if you want crazy Bible wackos to turn this country into Afghanistan.

The GOP is 90% white. In the last year, they have gone after gays and blacks and Muslims and Hispanics.

The 10% "other" in the Republican Party is made up of Michael Steele and Alan Keyes and Michelle Malkin and others of that "ilk". Republicans can have them. They are happy with the people who hate their guts.

What's wrong with a violent uprising to overthrow democratically elected officials? Well, nothing if you live in Afghanistan.

Idiot.

Why do you think the founders wrote in that pesky little 'right to bear arms', Ravi? We not only have the right to overthrow our government, we have a duty to do so - should they overstep the authority WE grant to them.

in 10 days we will send a message.....

We do if the government is NOT democratically elected or is taken over by coup.

Most of you people slept through civics class, I'm going to assume.

No need for violence, the Republicans are going to overthrow this government the old fashion way...at the ballot box...as long as we can get the dead back in their graves between Halloween and Election day.

Another clown with delusions of a glorious rebellion. He probably fantasizes himself as the leader, a 21st century Robert E Lee or something. What's the difference between a revolutionary and a traitor? Victory.

Like the US military wouldn't curb-stomp any pocket of armed resistance.
