Rep Jason Chaffetz job is coming to an end , hopefully.

The dems and the centrists are organizing a "swamp the precinct" event next month in the GOP annual precinct meetings.

The majority at each precinct will elect the officers for this year and next as well as county and state delegates.

That means they can out Chaffetz at next year's convention and vote against in the Republican Primary.

If Kathryn really did raise $200,000 in such a short time, she can be in the game.

No, she can't.
Oh, yes, she can.

Yeah, just like Love was endangered last year. Oh wait, she won by ten points....
Yup, she did. That was not the year though, like this one, that may well witness a dem and centrist cross over to register GOP and swamp the caucuses.

The Liberal wish list just keeps adding up.....do any of you sleep?

I heard a rumor that Former President Obama is no longer in office....AND...isn't running for anything anymore.

Once again, here we see a liberal dodging the pertinent point.

Chaffetz' remark is spot on. If someone can't afford thei9r health coverage, they shouldn't be pissing money away on the latest iteration iPhone. Doing that's irresponsible...

In just two days, Kathryn Allen raised about $200,000 in her campaign against the GOP congressman.

WASHINGTON — By dismissing an angry crowd of constituents as paid, out-of-state protesters last month, Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) helped convince a very real constituent in the audience that it was time to run for office.

And when the congressman said Tuesday that low-income Americans shouldn’t buy iPhones if they are unable to afford coverage under the new GOP health care law, he may very well have ensured he’ll have a viable challenger come 2018.

Kathryn Allen, a Democrat and family physician from Cottonwood Heights, Utah, had been toying with the idea of running against Chaffetz, whom she recently described as a “terrible excuse for a public servant.” But it was Chaffetz’s iPhone blunder, Allen’s public response and the explosive groundswell of support — and funding — she received afterward that provided the final boost.

I hope this Kathryn Allen blasts him right out of office.

Jason Chaffetz represents a heavily Republican district in the most Republican state in the country. Kathryn Allen can raise all the money she wants, but she won't come close to defeating him.

this prediction folks is from the same person who said Trump would lose in Utah, and Trump would be trounced in the general.

Cool. Refusing to buy a 100 dollar phone is the same as not buying healthcare that is going to cost you anywhere from 395 to over 4000 dollars?

That's a lot of I phones.

It's called doing away with luxuries to provide for the necessities.

I see plenty of people who have no health coverage, but they've got an iPhone 7, the NFL GameDay package and a 3,500 watt sound system in their recently slammed Honda Civic. People need to readjust their priorities. I shouldn't have to pay more so some welfare check cashin' father of seven can throw a new set of rims on the Impala. That's fucked...
