    I'd give you points for bringing this article to the board if I could. Could hardly believe it was written by a New Yorker, from a state where East Coast liberalism flourishes and entangles the people like weeds. At least one person hasn't been paying too much attention to what the New York Times, Hillary Clinton or Chuck Schumer says. Tsk! Tsk! :tng:

    I don't see the correlation between rising secularism and depraved behavior in America. It's something else.

    Look at Europe, the most secular-minded continent on Earth, yet their many nations experience much lower murder rates than the States across the Atlantiic pond.

    Rising secularism in America might play a marginal role, but I don't see how that can be solely blamed for Americans' lack of morals and self-restraint.

    I think our hyper-materialistic culture holds more blame than secularism.
