Religion and ethics?

    It is strange that there would be a message board that encompasses religion and ethics, in the U.S. today, both are being warped to alter the meaning of the other so neither needs to be practiced.

    Regardless of your beliefs on the topic, the two generally coincide, many people do derive their morals and ethics from religion, and some their ethics are their religion.

    As for my typical response: Why ask such an inane question in an existential part of the forums?
