Record number of uninsured adults...What is the GOP going to do about it?

hmmm, throw more adults off the bus by dismantling Obamacare?
Obamacare covers about 20 to 25 million uninsured. Places them on medicare/medicaid.
Obamacare is the first step to a European style single payer system. Socialized medicine is rationed care of lower quality. It also guarantees much higher taxes.
There is a need for health insuranxce reform. Just not by a meddling all intrusive government.
There is no way possible to insure 300+ million people efficiently, with high standards of care and make it affordable.

Not until after Obama runs for re-election and doesn't have to defend this crap it doesn't.

Stay healthy for four years.

I guess its the young ignorant fools who have not lived as adults the last thirty years hence you have not been aware of government regulations, mandates, not to mention lawsuits which have all but crippled health care.

Now we will only blame Obama and hopefully repeal Obamacare thus we will be happy with the old, shitty, expensive, screwed up system the politicians, bureaucrats, and lawyers created in the first place.

Yes..All public hospitals are required by law to treat indigent patients.

emergencies.

what a lying cracker you are. deceit, deception, deflection...

gawd, you're an awful tool.

I saw a bum send an ER tech out to get him a sandwich. The bum was getting some dressing changed there, as he does every week.

Why doesn't this system work for you?

Are you going to kick bums out of the ER?

I saw a rich guy looting millions from retirement funds of the middle class while shipping jobs overseas.

system work for you?

Public hospital - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A public hospital or government hospital is a hospital which is owned by a government and receives government funding. This type of hospital provides medical care free of charge, the cost of which is covered by the funding the hospital receives. Most hospitals worldwide are public.[citation needed]

In the U.S., public hospitals receive significant funding from local, state, and/or federal governments. In addition, they may charge Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurers for the care of patients. Poor uninsured patients receive their care for free. Public hospitals, especially in urban areas, have a high concentration of uncompensated care and graduate medical education as compared to all other American hospitals. Public hospitals in America are closing at a much faster rate than hospitals overall. The number of public hospitals in major suburbs declined 27% (134 to 98) from 1996 to 2002. It is thought that the increase in uninsured has drained public hospitals to near bankruptcy.[2] Non-profit rural hospitals were disproportionately represented with high numbers of patients with uncompensated care. Public and non-profit rural hospitals form a large part of the health care safety net for the uninsured and poor underinsured in the U.S.[3]
You were saying, mr truth and accuracy?

You come at me and I will use facts to kick your useless paranoid tail to Cambodia.
That will be all.
Don't forget to look under your bed for that racist white guy.
BTW I would take very good care if I were you. Once you start with racial epithets, you are on very shaky ground.
Do you really think you are that anonymous. I am only going to state this once. One more racial insult and you're toast.

You guys force Obamacare through and the number of uninsured increased. You honestly don't see any correlation there? Driving up insurance premiums because of government regulation couldn't possibly be causing more people to be uninsured could it?

It's not like we were telling you for nearly a year that this would be the exact result. Oh wait, we were.

So your solution of course is more government regulation? Or am I off here?
No, you have it right.

For the statist and their willing accomplice useful idiots, failure of bureaucracy and gubmint programs is merely evidence that they need even more power.

Number of uninsured U.S. adults hits record high - USATODAY.com

Nearly 50 million Americans have gone without health insurance for at least part of the past year — up from 46 million people in 2008, federal health officials reported Tuesday.
Those people included not only those Americans living in poverty, but an increasing number of middle-income people, according to a report from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

"The bottom line is that uninsurance of young and middle-class adults increased by 4 million people from 2008 to the first quarter of 2010," CDC Director Dr. Thomas R. Frieden said during a news conference Tuesday.

What's more, the number of people without insurance for a year or more increased from 27.5 million in 2008 to 30.4 million in the first quarter of 2010, Frieden said. "That's an increase of 3 million of chronically uninsured adults."

These findings debunk two myths about health insurance, Frieden said. "The first myth is that it's only the poor who are uninsured. In fact, half of the uninsured are over the poverty level," he said.

"The second myth is that it's only healthy people who are uninsured and that young healthy people make a choice not to have health insurance. In fact, more than two out of five individuals who are uninsured at some point during the past year had one or more chronic diseases," he said

What is the GOP plan? Repeal?

Explain why it is the Governments responsibility to pay for medical insurance for its citizens.

So the record number of uninsured has occurred on Obama's watch and under the democratic controlled senate and house-- which has been under dem control since 2007- near four years?

So what your saying is the republican's have inherited this mess and you want them to fix it instantly—can they at least blame Obama and the dems as has been par for the course for the past several years as practiced by Obama? /sarcasm
