Enlighten us ... did you read the source material? ... this is world-wide ... all basins ... which is the better data for world-wide global warming ... it's a well known phenomena that tropical cyclone numbers may vary quite a bit in each individual basin ... but the world-wide totals tends to be more consistent ... and this is what U of Colorado is offering ... just the raw data, do what you will with it ...
