In case you've forgotten Barack, there was that little thing called the GI Bill, post WWII, that set the stage for the greatest economic boom ever, enabling millions of GI's to obtain a college education that would have been beyond their reach under any other circumstances which aided and abetted the unleashing of a technological avalanche benefitting mankind never before seen. But we know your US History leaves a little to be desired, fifty seven states et al.
