Prosthetic Leg Helps Donkey Kick Some Tail - PawNation
Check out the video.
Emma the 1-year-old miniature donkey may act like a normal animal, but she's unique. After her birth in April 2012, Emma underwent surgery to amputate a limb. Thankfully, veterinarians chose her as a test case aimed at saving the lives or horses and donkeys that are typically euthanized because of leg deformities or fractures. They outfitted Emma with a prosthetic limb, and now Emma can't even tell that she's different. She loves to run around the barnyard, kicking her 1,600-pound horse pal.
