A pretty decent low budget independent sci-fi.
There are certainly no mind blowing CGI or special effects.
Just a pretty solid plot/script with a good cast. This sci-fi is about the story, not the special effects.
The story centers around a teenage daughter of a contracted gem hunter. Set well into the future where an alien planet has a bounty of highly sought after gems. Though hard to find, and require highly skilled "diggers" to get them successfully. The pair run into a band of mercenaries and things go downhill fast.
