It might be 'cool' depending on how you define the word 'cool', but it would have been the guilty criminal killing a righteous man who was only defending himself, Zona, and the jury agreed unanimously.

Except Martin was way taller and stronger than Zimmerman, unlike the situation here where the big guy had the gun as well.

The sinner of a fight is most often determined before anyone even takes a swing.

Usually the guys that don't want to fight just give up and run if they can. After them the guys that think they want to fight but change their minds after the first blow lands, and together with the first group I'd say they are about 75% of physical confrontations: over in less than three seconds.

That is why there are so many gutless bullies who expect people to back off of them without a fight. They dress and act in a way that they think meets up with a thuggish demeanor and style and let people assume that if the thug dresses and acts that way well he must be tough, a lot tougher than the victim.

Then when the rare event occurs, and it is increasingly rare these days it seems, when the target fights back and knocks the bully on his ass, the bullies usually run.

But not this fight. It seems both were determined, though one had to 'fortify' his resolve by having a gun brought to him first. And even more surprisingly, the kid knew better, that if the bully had to have a gun then he likely had no resolve to begin with and so he fought the bastard and won.

And he gave up a significant weight advantage as well and beat the guy WRESTLING him, lol. This fight was just exceptional in ever way.
