There is a cruel irony that Americans should fear.

Advances in AI will likely reverse the superiority between capitalist and socialist economics. In a capitalist economy it will increase disparity as automation reduces jobs to the benefit of the employer class, with the subsequent profits increasingly concentrated. Robot servants in every home is possible....only for the rich and powerful who can afford to pay for them and use the increased domestic productivity to turn around and increase their professional productivity. If your job was eliminated because of advanced AI and you hadn't already accumulated vast wealth, you're shit out of luck.

In a socialist society, robot servants in every home becomes simple common sense, as the fruits of free labor are spread across the country because the government expects you increase your productivity to the benefit of the government.
