THe House passes plenty of things. It's the Senate (more specifically, Harry Reid) who blocks stuff

The House passes partisan bills with no chance of becoming law. If they were serious, they would pass bills with bipartisan support

Why hasn't the House voted on the immigration bill?
Why should Reid put Republican bills up for a vote when Republicans require 60 votes for Democratic bills to come up for a vote?

The House hasn't voted on the Immigration bill because the Boehner knows it will pass and the GOP can't let the President have anything that vaguely resembles a victory of any kind. Screw what the country wants or needs, its about the GOP doing anything to go against this President.

You and the truth are far apart! We don't need a bill, just enforce Reagan's bill!

Actually Obama taking a vacation while the Congress is not in sesson due to a holiday makes perfect sense. When Congress is not in session no bills can be passed and Obama is left with nothing to do. Would you prefer he take his vacations while the Congress is in session and sending bills to his office for signing?

What you are saying makes sense. People should not have to look for a job for 99 weeks. But what should they do if there are no jobs? What should they do if jobs they apply for have up to 100 people applying for the same job?

The issue isnt that Obama took a vacation while Congress is out of session. The issue is that he is bitching and complaining about Congress taking a vacation while he is also on vacation.

Instead of being a leader, he once again demonstrates his desire to be a despot. He wants everyone else to work while he does nothing.

If he was running a business you on the left would be complaining about how evil that CEO is to take vacation while reprimanding his employees for not working.

Leaders lead by example. They dont ask others to do what they are unwilling to do.
