Trumpists, are you tired of not-winning yet?

The US and Trump are hurting from the trade war as exemplified by Trump begging China to remove tariffs and buy more agricultural produce without offering any

The USA is definitely not heading in the right direction. Some of the consequences of the trade war will be permanent as China makes itself more independent of the USA and other countries which implies permanent shrinkage of world trade.

There will still be further consequences on brand USA which may never recover.

Trump's trade war cost U.S. economy $7.8 billion in 2018: study | Reuters

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Donald Trump’s trade battles cost the U.S. economy $7.8 billion in lost gross domestic product in 2018, a study by a team of economists at leading American universities published this week showed.
Authors of the paper said they analyzed the short-run impact of Trump’s actions and found that imports from targeted countries declined 31.5 percent while targeted U.S. exports fell by 11 percent. They also found that annual consumer and producer losses from higher costs of imports totaled $68.8 billion.
“After accounting for higher tariff revenue and gains to domestic producers from higher prices, the aggregate welfare loss was $7.8 billion,” or 0.04 percent of GDP, the researchers said.

Total bullshit. Trump is the only president to take China on and at least try to level the playing field. The OP doesn't mention what's happening to China's economy during the "trade war". Looks like the globalists are starting to squirm.

Because of Trump's tariff on Chinese steel, Northstar steel is flooding the local TV airwaves here in Ohio with ads offering living wage jobs (guaranteed $50,000 - $90,000/year).

They are investing $700,000,000 to expand facilities in Ohio. That equates to many union construction jobs.

The USA is definitely not heading in the right direction.
Could you explain why you believe that creating a strong job market in the USA in which working class Americans are earning higher real wages is the wrong direction?

Do you believe that increased prosperity for American workers is a good thing? Or do you believe that the American workers and their families should suffer more hardship simply because they tacitly support capitalism? Or what?

Or are you just trolling and/or intoxicated?

Have you factored in the 1 trillion in American imports china has agreed to buy. Or how the European Union concessions and Canada concessions will affect that number after caving in to trumps demands.
I got a feeling you have not .also china want the trade tariffs to end as its hurting them far more than ot is us and the appear open to even more concessions.
Have you weighed in all this agint your 7.8 billion.
China alone is going to increase buying 100 billion a year because of trump and lowered tariffs on american cars from 40 percent to 15 percent if I remember correctly . they already buy a lot of american cars and this will only increase sale.

First you need to look up a article called the revamped nafta deal.

considering the biggest concession we got from Canada on the new NAFTA was them agreeing to the name change, that will not really help much.

the "concessions" they made in the dairy industry will not have any impact on our economy, as they are minor changes to smaller markets. The whole Class 7 canard was created by Canada to use as a bargaining chip when NAFTA was redone.

Jeb Bush is running his big fat mouth in the media today, attacking Trump's trade policies as "dangerous" and advocating that someone primary Trump in 2020. Those RINO fuckers let CHINA steal from us, screw us over for decades. Jeb Bush needs to :anj_stfu:

1. Trump didn't create that job market, Obama did;

2. There is no increased prosperity due to Trump except for the wealthy

3. Trump has strangled international trade which may never recover. This will affect the USA.
