Plans of Romania to take over Moldova are most worrisome imho. Moldova is economically weaker in comparison with the general EU level. More, the country lacks stability. Some regions of Moldova are staying volatile for years, say Gagauzia. It's been rather a challenge for Moldova's safety and integrity and so it's going to be for Romania, a EU member country!
My brother used to go out with the girl from Gagauzia. She had come to Germany seeking for any job. She was a waitress in a café. So according to her words, Gagauz people have been dreaming about independence. Being of the Turkic origin they are prone to convert into Islam from Christianity! And there are lots of Islamic missionaries advertising Islam now among the Gagauz people. Now fancy that region inside EU! That's going to be a slow bomb just for the EU... future source of Islamic terrorism or sort of it!
