As opposed to people who vote Republican who think Dinosaurs are extinct because Noah didn't have room for them on the Ark?
I voted for McCain last time, but I'm voting for Obama this time because Mitt Romney is a horrible human being... and a Mormon. But I repeat myself.

Maybe if you would watch the video before commenting you would not look like an obama supporter.
I didn't need to watch more than two seconds of it to figure out what kind of video it was....
Frankly, the real problem Republicans have.
If you don't make six figures, you don't have any real good reason to vote for them because they simply do not give a sh it about you.
They just get you worked up about guns or abortions or gays and you morons vote for them, anyway.
Wasn't always that way, I think even George W. Bush cared about working class folks on some level.
But I think they've just kind of concluded you guys are stupid and can be easily manipulated when they blow the dog whistles.
I don't think they were very informed about the person they voted for

I predict that we will continue to see pendulum swinging "sea-change" elections whereby the opposing parties will promise to fix the country every four years. There is something sad about this because no change is coming. Why? American business doesn't want to pay first world labor costs. They want 3rd world, sweatshop labor costs.
This is why I am waiting for honesty from Washington. I will vote for the politician who says: "I can't bring middle class jobs back from the 3rd world. And even if I did, they wouldn't pay enough to support the living standards and demand requirements of a modern, first world nation. Therefore, I'm just going to be honest about what happened to the jobs and why they're not coming back. Starting in 1980, Washington made a pact with business. The pact was this: in exchange for business funding elections and keeping us in office, Washington made it so business could access 3rd world labor, thus proving capital with a higher return on its investment. This was great for owners and wealthy investors, but terrible for the middle class. Transferring U.S. manufacturing to freedom-hating, dictator-run nations made one group of Americans wealthy beyond their wildest dreams, but it had the affect of lowering the wages, benefits, and job prospects of the middle class. And it hurt the domestic economy which was sustained by wage-based consumption (-that is, consumption made possible by policies which tied American capital to American labor, and policies which ensured that American workers participated fully in economic growth). Once we cut the middle class workers out of the loop (in order to raise the profits of the few), we had to fund middle class consumption with something besides high wages and benefits. So what did we do? We loaned American workers money from our exploding profits in the form of unsecured credit. We handed out Master Cards, Visas, American Expresses and Sub-prime mortgages so that the middle class could continue to enjoy the lifestyle we politicians promised to deliver. We called it Morning in America. It worked for a while, but we learned a terrible lesson We learned that you can only support an economy with credit for so long until you break the bank - which is exactly what we did in 2008.
You say it as if you mean it in this post but when it comes to others threads you aren't the same as you would hope others would believe you are in this post.I predict that we will continue to see pendulum swinging "sea-change" elections whereby the opposing parties will promise to fix the country every four years. Agreed.
People attack on partisan lines, when in truth that's just like arguing with your teenage child while burglars are ransacking your home.
The partisan crap is what's distracting all of us from the fact all politicians in this country are lying to our faces to get our vote. Blatantly. And we know it, but accept it.
Republican's are either rich, arrogant pricks looking to protect their money and have no concept or care that free markets gravitate towards giving the elite 5% everything and the other 95% jack shit. Or they're racist/prejudice and angry idiots who don't realize THEY are the ones being screwed by their own party's policy's (along with the people they discriminate). Frame it with religion and "moral values" and you got the rednecks. They think they support the party of common sense and the preservation of "the good old days" that only exists in hindsight.
Democrats are also either rich, arrogant people who sit in expensive restaurants above LA patronizingly discussing "the nations uneducated poor just don't understand the value of green power and organic food" not realizing it takes MONEY to have those things. Other Democrats are (largely) minorities or immigrants who want free everything, and scream and cry if you ask them for a drug test despite living on tax-payer money. And the labor unions steal the money from the poor and pretend they're helping them. Democrats think they support the party of equality, rationalism and progression.
They. Both. Suck.
