    Why am I living at the edge pf the Pacific Ocean? Other studies, not mentioned below, depict higher cancer rates for those living in the mountains because of the increase in the intensity of solar radiation (less atmosphere to block the sun) and higher ambient radiation exposure associated with the radioactive decay of certain elements contained in the rock mass of which the mountains are composed.

    sounds like actually WALKING in the mountains is the key----Don't think sitting on your ass watching TV on Pikes Peak would help much.
