Taqiyya the Liar never tells the truth about anything:

I donā€™t believe him.

I understand he is the president of the United States, a position that should warrant presumptive trust regardless of oneā€™s philosophical or partisan identification. But I cannot start with a presumption of trust when it comes to this president, the former true-believing community organizer whose word has proven to be vapid or even patently false on so many important issues. You see, this president is the classic progressive ā€” far more classic than the Clintons, for whom truth is purely situational: only good as long as it fits their purpose, and then on to Plan B.

What makes Barack Obama the real progressive is that he truly believes that his great willpower magically transforms his pronouncements. Indeed, his mere will makes them accurate ā€” especially if he repeats them enough ā€” despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

Obama s Legacy -- Paved with Lies National Review Online

It is a waste of time exposing his lies. It is comments like his latest version of reality that I have decided to paraphrase whenever I come across one:

The point is we are creating a culture that is not conducive to good policy or good politics. The American people deserve better; certainly presidential debates deserve better. In eighteen months Iā€™m turning over the keys. Iā€™m making sure Iā€™m turning over the keys to somebody who is serious about the serious problems the country faces and the world faces.

The point is Socialists created a culture of death that is conducive to our policy and politics. The American people do not deserve better, and I certainly do not want my policies challenged in presidential debates. Iā€™m turning over the keys in eighteen months. Iā€™m not handing them over to somebody who will attack the problems I created here at home and in the world. Flanders

From time to time I will add to this thread by paraphrasing a remark that is so bizarre there is no other way to deal with it.

I am having second thoughts about adding to this thread in the future.

In the past, I surfed on outta there the minute Taqiyya showed up on my TV screen. I even trained myself to hit the fast-forward when recorded panels discussed him, and I seldom read articles about him. In order to catch his bizarre comments requires me to stay abreast of the things he says. If I continue adding his idiocy to this thread, I will not have time for anything else. Within hours of posting this thread I stumbled over one I could not let slide:

The crowd cheered appreciatively.

Obama: ā€˜Iā€™m a Pretty Good Presidentā€™ And If I Ran For a Third Term, I Could Win

Obama I m a Pretty Good President And If I Ran For a Third Term I Could Win Washington Free Beacon

He is so ludicrous I had to paraphrase his remarks to Africans:

Now, let be honest with you. I understand why I am in my second term. I have been a lousy president, but Americans who voted for me twice are such morons I would easily win a third term. It has been an extraordinary scam serving as their president. I cannot imagine anything funnier than the Congress implementing my agenda for me. Do not worry about our Constitution. There is a lot Iā€™d like to do to keep the country moving toward my friends in foreign countries; so I am working on an executive order that gives me the authority to remain president for life.
