The question was asked, how much would getting out of Iraq save?

How much money could we save if we abolished welfare, social security, medicare, medicaid, federally funded education, the EPA etc.

NONE of those federal offices are constitutionally enumerated and as such they are unconstitutional. If individual states want those programs--such as Masschusetts healthcare (oi! what a debacle THAT's turning out to be!) then so be it but the military is a legitimate function of constitutionally mandated power.

Even if you disbanded the military in its entirety we would still be running a deficit. So which social(ist) services are you willing to chop?

The telling point is: He hated Gov Palin FIRST and THEN went out looking for evidence to "justify" that hatred.

The fact is: if Gov Palin were half the threat they think she is they would have seen her nomination coming (had they been watching rather than preening there was a draft Palin movement on the right side of the blogospere) but in a telling episode of what Obama-er-uh-um's presidency would look like he was unable to anticipate an existential threat...let alone counter it once it manifested.

The hippy-crites of the web are beside themselves. She is the wrong kind of Pro-Choice (she chooses life), she's self-assertive (not preached at from a feminist studies class), she worships the wrong God (not Gaia) and she's still romantically in love with her husband (as opposed to leaving him to chubby interns).

Had she been a "proper" woman she would have waited for the socialist elites to nod to her ascent but she has undone and outrun them.
