NAZARETH, (PIC)-- Palestinian political activists in territories occupied in 1948 are unanimous in rejecting the resumption of direct peace talks that are only to Israels interest, Al-Jazeera Net website reported.
Direct negotiations are conducted under conditions set by Israel and the U.S., activists warned, while stressing the importance of preserving Palestinian national constants.
Israeli Arab member of Knesset Jamal Zahalka told the site that the Palestinian Authority's participation in direct negotiations on Israeli terms is a big scandal.
MP Talab al-Sani said Israeli attempts for Palestinians to acknowledge Israel as a Jewish state means acknowledging the Jews false claim to historical rights to the land as well as paving the way for the exchange of population and the completion of the events witnessed by the Palestinians in 48.
