Consistent with the one-sided nature of media coverage this was ignored by the press and the anti-Israel advocates here. Anyone wonder why?
The February report of The Independent Commission for Human Rights' (ICHR) exposed 7 documented cases of unnatural death in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. Unnatural deaths include deaths in family disputes, revenge deaths, tunnel-related deaths and "honor killing" cases. ICHR also received 59 complaints of torture and ill-treatment as well as complaints of the violation of the right to due process of law. There also were a number of complaints concerning violations regarding freedom of expression, press and peaceful assembly and complaints concerning assaults on persons and property.
