Since The Arizona Republic began publication in 1890, we have never endorsed a Democrat over a Republican for president. Never. This reflects a deep philosophical appreciation for conservative ideals and Republican principles.

Then government should be at her side and in her head and in her uterus. Government should not interfere in personal lives, nless two homosexuals want to avail themselves of the rights and privledge of the marriage contract. The government should not have power over personal lives, unless you want to discriminate against that homosexual couple. In that event, the government should protect your right to be a bigot.

Another ideology believes that government can affect solutions for problems which effect the nation at large. This ideology further believes that business, while beneficial economically, should be regulated for the ill business does. This ideology believes that taxes, while too high, should be paid in fair, reasonable amounts by everyone who benefits from the conditions business is conducted under.

Hollywood is a convienent whipping boy. Could you cite some specific films, other than those produced by Michael Moore or Oliver Stone that directly threatens Conservative ideology? And why can't Conservatives muster up a means of getting their politics placed in a more flattering light?

Is it academia holding you guys back? I wonder why? We have heard Conservatives insist we teach mythology in science classes. We hear Conservatives rail against funding for school, schools that should be cathedrals instead of crumbling, leaking buildings. Conservatives are afraid of paying teachers what they are worth. So the best, most motivated, most dedicated educators are more motivated to find gainful employment instead of following their passion to teach. But, Conservatives would strap a Glock to teacher's hips. Yes sir! The two things teachers love to do is educate and shoot things.

Instead of seeking out scapegoats, one might think that crafting a more effective message might be the goal Conservatives would want to reach.

Here's one way to start: don't attack me for making a sensible point. Rather tell me what Conservativism can do for the entire nation, not just those with means.
