I hope he stays the course he campaigned on and focus on what will win in 2020. They are essentially the same issues, with more outreach to the black, hispanic and female voters.

China, the economy, the southern border and America First when confronting global abusers. The same people who voted for Obama had little interest in a particular Law and Order campaign, I don't care what some advisers think. If they cared so much about that, Obama wouldn't have won twice. He can't be dragged into Neo-Con territory if we hope to defeat China.

He has worked to broaden his appeal and it had worked well until the Wuhan Virus. He can't go backwards and believe the fake polls.

I would argue that he needs to win on the issues, and many of the issues that he needs to win on impact ALL Americans, including, in some cases especially; minority voters.

Imagine how many more jobs would be in MI, PA and other places if not for Communist China. Or how many minority workers would be able to earn a decent living if not for illegal immigration. How about fair, reasonable justice reform that doesn't lock non-violent, young criminals and throw away the key? Those are Trump triumphs and they have to be his focus.

Trump can get gain an unlimited amount of votes in communities not known to vote Republican. he made major inroads over the last 3.5 years. If he reverts to a "Law and Order" campaign, it will bring back memories of the Bushes or McCain. That is NOT the broader voting pool Trump has worked for.

He can talk about the issue of law and order and justice (I suggest he play both sides of the issue, it's not difficult), but, he has to focus on the economy, dealing with China etc. He can't be bogged down into over reach in which city leaders and MSM will paint him as a tyrant.

Stick to kitchen table issues, jobs and the economy.

Totally agree about "kitchen table" issues. However, the riots and burned out "shooting gallery" cities need to be addressed. The democrat mayors and governors need to be held to account for their inaction. The violence can get worse if not checked. City and suburb voters need to see that defunding the police is a dumb idea.
Trump has a matrix of issues that he beats Biden on, the debates will be key in seeing how both men defend their positions.
I still think that whoever commits to "fixing" SS & Medicare gets a lot of senior voters.

Trump needs to get the states to handle mail-in votes accurately. We already see that some states are mailing ballots to long dead people and cats and dogs. Also, the Post Office needs to properly post-mark all ballots.

Not this time around....they've seen him, destroy and divide the Nation.... he's no longer an outsider that they don't know.... now his own lawlessness, swamp, and incompetence, is in clear view.... imo.

1. Law and order does not include defunding the police. Trump wins that issue
2. Law and order means voting with the police, for Trump
3. Other Biden policies, that he stole from Bernie, are NOT popular, no one wants socialism
4. Tell me voters want: the Green New Deal, Paris Treaty, Nationalized Utilities, open borders, gun control, free college and free healthcare for illegals, eliminate ICE and DHS, closed pipelines, less construction, more "Solyndras", etc.
