We all know that older, less educated, white males constitute the Trump base....also known as the Trump Cult...........But, the question that should arise among the majority of posters on here who are also, older, less educated white males is if THAT is enough to give Trump another term.
The answer for those objective enough to think on their own, is that the Trump base is hardly enough for a repeat of what happened in 2016.
Bear in mind that mostly due to the whims of the outdated electoral college, Trump won by a "grand total" of 70,000 votes spread among 3 key states neglected by the terribly run Clinton campaign.
During this past 2.5 years, Trump has done NOTHING to increase his base and has actually royally pissed off many voters who were naive enough to actually trust Trump's demagoguery of false promises.
If you then, take into consideration Trump's extremely narrow win in 2016....with his administration mired in corruption.......his horrible record with our allies......his devastating economic trade deals.....his failure with the passage of a tax scam.....his inability to rein in health care costs, etc., Trump's chances for reelection will resemble what happened in the 2018 mid term elections.
Ultimately, next year's presidential election will rest in the hands of INDEPENDENT voters who currently back Trump at a dismal rate of 26%......Couple that factor with the expected downturn of our economy's prospects.........Trump's chances for another term are about as "good" as GHWB in '92.
