San Jose: One-time 'Sons of Anarchy' actor detained for ditching tab at downtown bar - San Jose Mercury News
SAN JOSE -- An actor from San Jose whose career highlights include minor roles in "Sons of Anarchy" and "Justified" was detained by police Monday night after he tried to skip out on a $56 tab at a downtown bar, police said.
Paul John Vasquez Jr., 43, a San Jose native and graduate of Saratoga High School, was drinking at Dive Bar at East Santa Clara and Third streets around 8:30 p.m. when he tried to leave without paying, Sgt. Heather Randol said.
"He was intoxicated, and the bar called police," Randol said.
Officers responded and, according to a photo published by the celebrity news site TMZ.com, handcuffed Vasquez and had him sit on a street curb while they awaited his father, who paid the outstanding bar tab.
