One Nation Under Socialism...

Totalitarianism is Totalitarianism. And that's where Big Government Globalists are taking our Nation. Call it 'Socialism' or call it 'Fascism.' Either way, it's very bad.

That's pretty screwed up, I suggest a little research from someone not Glenn Beck on the definitions of these words you are so carelessly throwing around.

Yes it is pretty screwed up. Heading full steam ahead towards Totalitarianism is very screwed up. And as far as Glenn Beck goes, his opinion is his opinion.

Putting all totalitarianism on the left may be the most damaging lie he ever told, never heard such a thing until he came along. Fascism and socialism are not the same thing, not even close, but it is not my job to educate you, learn the actual definitions to these terms.

Yeah.
No one ever got ahead by working together.
It's rugged individualism that won WW2 and put a man on the moon!

Apples & Oranges. Different time. That has nothing to do with what's happening to our Country right now.

Bullcrap.

The rich have made out like bandits the last 35 years and workers wages have stagnated.
Before, high tax rates balanced that out.
No reason for high CEO wages if most of it gets eaten up in taxes. Better to GROW YOUR BUSINESS! Which is what USED to happen. Which meant MORE JOBS and HIGHER WAGES for workers.

All you have to do is look at what has happend to the incomes of the very wealthy compared to everyone else since Reagan's tax policies took effect.

Perhaps you can point to some other force of monetary redistribution that would have as great an impact as our tax code to make your point? I'll wait while you simply assert something to be true, instead of actually PROVING it.

Check out the night of the long knives. The night Hitler no longer needed the socialists to take power, he was in power, so he did them in-almost to a man. But Hitler kept the name NAZI.

It's the willful LYING by conservatives that gets me. I mean they can't ALL be this STUPID, can they? Hitler was a bleeding heart LIBERAL? Please. Common fricking sense people.

I mean if they're willing to LIE ABOUT HITLER, what else are they willing to lie about?

Well, i never put all Totalitarianism on the Left. But obviously the current Totalitarians in power are part of the Left. But most people get way too caught up in that old manufactured 'Left/Right' paradigm. Big Government Globalists are taking our country towards Totalitarianism. It doesn't matter whether people perceive that as coming from the 'Left' or the 'Right.' It is happening. And that should worry all Americans.

We are so much closer to being a fascist state than a socialist state and getting more so every day.

The left, the real left, has never been more powerless in America than they are right now.

Splitting hairs in my opinion. But i agree with your assessment in general. However, i would say we are much closer to being a Totalitarian State. 'Socialism/Fascism' are only means to get you there.

Again, the two are not the same thing, in many ways they are opposites especially in how the two treat the labor movement.

It's all about the Big Government Globalists now. They run the Show. They run the Show in both Parties. That's just the sad reality.

The sad reality is that the right is running into the arms of fascism trying to unreasonably flee even the most innocuous forms of socialism. There is only one way to keep stability in the absence of social safety nets and it is a harsh police state. Destroying one necessitates the need for the other.

You are correct that fascism and socialism are not the same things but I think the point is that they both require a government unencumbered by laws restricting their power. In other words, here in America, it takes big government to move towards (statism, communism, fascism, socialism, etc) and it takes a Constitution with defined powers and equal justice to prevent anarchy.

I think the point is we need to stop moving away from our limited government roots, regardless of what name you give the direction we're moving. They all suck.

Old saying: When the government's boot is on your throat, it makes little difference if it's the right boot or the left boot.

No, a Police State is awful for all Americans. It doesn't matter what justifications are being pushed to create it. It should be opposed at all costs.

Jon McNaughton, a controversial artist who often mixes religion and politics in his work, has released a new painting.

In “One Nation Under Socialism,” President Obama holds the U.S. Constitution as it burns.

While McNaughton previously depicted Obama stepping on the nation’s founding document, “One Nation Under Socialism” glowers directly as if challenging the viewer. His right hand is holding the Constitution and his left hand is pointing to the flames.

McNaughton tells CBSDC that the hands “represents his recognition of what is happening (to the Constitution) as it goes up.”

“There are numerous symbols and subtleties in this painting, and I’m not ready to reveal all of them,” McNaughton said.

Yes it should, that's why we have food stamps, medicare, SS, and all the other things many people want to destroy, it's so the poor and hungry do not drag the elite out of their ivory towers for some old fashioned tar and feathers and the elite do not have to travel with a platoon of security. Social programs are revolution insurance, it's expensive, but it's better than rioting.

Food stamps started in 1964, Medicare in 1965 and social security in 1935. I find remarkable the lack of elites being tarred and feathered before those dates. How could that be?

Yeah, this recent Executive Order has gone almost completely unreported by our corrupt MSM. Do people really still believe we have an 'Independent Media' in this Country? This Executive Order is both bizarre and egregious. Absolutely unnecessary.

Well now you're just serving up way too many Apples & Oranges to digest. You're straying.
