One move that can save the American middle class.

It's already nationalized, it's just rigged to favor the biggest players is all. The old saying 'privatizing the profits while socializing the costs' applies, as always.
How can that be when we're getting 40% of our medical ingredients from China and companies from France like Pfizer are running things through Wall Street?

When we nationalize it we will build our own factories here run by local co-op organizations and only overseen by one Department in the government as oversight on the fair distribution ratios of treasury.

Or leave the feds out of it and make it a state thing

It's the govt. that subsidizes the off-shoring in the first place. dummy. They got even bigger subsidies from the Trump admin in 2018.

$20 Mil/year is nice work if you can get it. I never tried and probably didn't have the skills.
You're spamming the topic with that sort of reply.
I will tell you when I do object to it, though. If the government forks out big bucks to save their asses, even in loans, it shouldn't be used to pay bonuses, when we didn't even know for sure they were going to be able to pay it back, and stock buybacks back then when flush with tax payer dollars was a total crock of shit.
What's your point? That's a rational opinion for both socialists and capitalists. We would think of any capitalist that disagrees as being a fascist or an anarchist!
Hopefully, I clarified my position for you.
No, you haven't and you won't. You've claimed that socialism has crept in but now you need to run away from that claim.

America's carmakers can't compete when purely capitalist ideals are upheld. 70% of the people know and understand that.

It's being quietly accepted that they will be able to compete if the 20M+ salaries were reduced to an acceptable level that is in sync with the workers.

It's not that simple.

The 'middle class' danced in the streets when the unions were busted and the real estate and stock market bubbles made them believe they were all 'shrewd captialist investors n stuff' and going to get rich with zero effort. Never dawned on the morons they would be the next to go , so we really don't need to care what happens to ' the middle class'; they're just reaping what they sowed. We need to raise their taxes to about 90% to pay for the bailouts they got for the last 50 years.

Can Trump own the supportive side of the UAW?

He's trying to own socialist change.

It's a smart move for Trump now that Biden is trying to form his whole agenda and reputation around providing help for the working class.

Such confusion!

I voted for people like Nader and Perot...Jill Stein in '16... you can't point the finger at me..

Nader at least admitted he was wrong for supporting the policies he did in the 1960's and 1970's, along with the 'Watergate Babies' and their alliance with the right wing monopolists and bankers. Just because you voted for some other technocratic con artists trying to get elected doesn't mean anything.

Not spamming. You brought up the $20 Mil salaries. I just told you how I looked at as you seem concerned and under the wrong impression.

I don't even care about pure capitalism, as it hasn't been pure, at least since the 1800s. I am just not ready to get behind galloping toward pure socialism. Maybe you are and just looking for a sounding board while remaining undercover, yourself.

How is it, you plan to reduce those salaries in your new socialist utopia?

Communist wage and price controls?

70% of Americans say they support the UAW.
Do any of them have any idea on where the automakers are going to get the money to pay for the outrageous demands of the Union?

Trumps supports the UAW. Does he know?

You're just imagining that socialism has crept in, so I called you on it.

Now you're trying to say that capitalism was pure in the 1800's and so I'll call you on that too.

It appears that you or the other mike have voted for anyone who actually became president
