So where was the MSM angst when this happened under Obama???
Where were the headlines like these:
Cable News: 22 Comparisons of Immigration Policy to the Holocaust, Slavery
Since Friday, the collective breakdown has yielded a total of 22 instances in which cable news commentators compared the separation of parents and children illegally entering the country to World War II-era war crimes and human rights violations.
On Friday, MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough opened Morning Joe with a tasteless Holocaust reference. “Children are being marched away to showers,” he intoned, “just like the Nazis said they were taking people to the showers, and then they never came back. You’d think they would use another trick.”

So absurd was the media's melodrama that even CNN’s Brian Stelter felt the need to step in and pump the proverbial brakes. On Sunday’s Reliable Sources, he posed a challenge to his guests: “Doesn’t the tone of this coverage offend a great deal of Americans who feel that the real scandal is that people are entering the country illegally in the first place?”

Now this happened under Obama...
where were the MSM comparisons???
Single Mexican fathers or men who traveled without an adult female companion while attempting to cross the U.S.-Mexico border with children, when subject to ATEP, had their children separated from them. Unaccompanied minors would then be placed into the custody of the Office of Refugee Resettlement. Such custody is supposed to be temporary and ORR is supposed to release children to an identified family member or sponsor.

The Arizona-based group No More Deaths, along with various other human rights organizations, refers to ATEP as “a form of cruel and unusual punishment” and a fact sheet released by the group noted, “Very often, families are separated and sent to cities far away from each other. They are never told where to find their loved ones, and humanitarian organizations often have to go through the Mexican Consulate to get information about family members.”
